May: Hosting Onsted 3rd grades as part of their pioneer studies.

June Open House Saturday, June 6th, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Docents Laura Pitock and June Elwell will share about spring garden preparations and

guide make-and-take vegetable planters for guests to start their own gardens.

July Open House Saturday, July 4th, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Cambridge historians Lisa Cyrus and Michelle McLemore will share about the Wooden School district families and

their contributions to the area. Former attendees and descendants are encouraged to bring

any memorabilia and family scrapbooks they possess.

This day is also the Onsted area America250 celebration. As details are firmed up, the full schedule weekend schedule will be posted here.  

August Open House Saturday, August 1st, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The Daughters of the American Revolution are special guests this day and

will talk about the revolutionary soldiers of Lenawee County. Joy Luck, docent, is hosting.

September Open House : Saturday, September 5, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The Lenawee Family Researchers will be the special guests this day.

Come learn how to navigate the past to connect your family lineage.

Bring names, birthdates, death dates, or any other information you have. Joy Luck, docent, is hosting.

October 2nd Annual Fall Family Festival: Saturday, October 3, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Food, fun, tractors, vintage vehicles, lost arts demonstrations, mini-horses, music, and more!

The full Wooden school society family will be  celebrating America’s 250th and area history with you.

December Open House: SUNDAY, December 6th , 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Step back in time for a rural Christmas at Wooden School.

Guest music, warm cider, local lore, and hands-on seasonal crafting/games.

Historian Ron Ryan and others will host.
